If you have an abundance of clutter it falls into one of three major areas.  Either you are keeping too much stuff, too much paper, or you are not managing your time well.
Today I want to share with you my favorite organizing tips in each area:
  1. Have a place for everything, and keep everything in its place
  2. When you take something our, put it back where it came from
  3. When you bring in something new, something must leave. Preferably in the same bag.
  1. Label your files based on what you actually call the paper, not what you think it should be called.
  2. Create a master list for the files in your filing cabinet
  3. Separate “action” files from those files you are saving for “reference.”
  1. Be sure to use a calendar or planner. Don’t try to remember everything you need to do.
  2. Create lists; plan your activities
  3. Remember that the two biggest time wasters are: procrastination and perfectionism. Don’t sabotage yourself.
